Cryptocheilus bicolor - Spider Wasp, Hornet  
  Pepsinae, Pompilidae  

These large wasps are often seen walking over the ground with wings constantly flicking. When they have a spider they usually walk backwards with it towards the nest, a hole in the ground. As they provision each cell with a single spider, it must necessarily be a large one. They prey on Sparassidae and Lycosidae.
