Bactrocera tryoni - Queensland Fruit Fly

Queensland Fruit Fly or Q-Fly is a serious pest of commercial fruit. It has distinguishing yellow markings on the thorax and is an overall chocolate colour. There is a lighter band across the abdomen. The adults usually rest with their wings at right angles to the body.
